Monday 10 October: The first ever Red Bull Sea to Sky, held in Turkey, wrapped up on Sunday with two KTM riders on the overall podium with bright new KTM star 20 year-old Johnny Walker (UK) in second and KTM’s evergreen Chris Birch (NZ), three time winner of the Roof of Africa, in third. Veteran Graham Jarvis took the eventual overall honors on a Husaberg.

Paul Whibley's dramatic finish at St Clairsville GNCC

Monday 17 October: Hosted by the Manawatu Orion MCC over the weekend on an open terrain track near Feilding. Conditions were not the greatest for Saturday but they did get three rounds done. Heavy overnight rain meant paddock access was impossible and day two was cancelled. Here are the results, more detail to come.

Wednesday 26 October: Competing at the Sugo round of the Japanese National Championship, team riders Rui Gonçalves and Evgeny Bobryshev had their first opportunity to familiarise themselves with the machinery they will be using to contest the 2012 MX1 World Championship – and they would start just as they mean to go on, putting it on the top step of the podium.
