At the end of his stay in Maranello, Cairoli revealed his Ferrari favourites: "Mine has always been the 599 GTB Fiorano," he said. "But, having been here, I was left speechless by the aggressive lines of the 458 Spider and the fabulous interior of the FF.”

The factory tour ended with a visit to the Atelier, where Ferraris are personalised and Cairoli was able to see the innumerable combinations that can be put together to deliver a made to measure car.

And before he left, the three times MX1 world champion revealed that he will be returning the favour when the Ferrari team principal guests at a motocross Grand Prix.

"Domenicali is a motocross fan and he has promised me that he will come to see a Grand Prix and I will be very happy to welcome him in the Motocross World Championship paddock", a delighted Cairoli concluded.
