Monday 06 February: We always run the 'official' AMA SX reports from Feld Motor Sports Inc. (who do an excellent job for us readers) but it's interesting to hear what the teams have to say about their successes or otherwise. Monster Energy's report from Corona California. Angel Stadium was packed for round five of the Monster Energy
Supercross in Anaheim, Calif. The vibe is different when Monster Energy
Supercross is in Southern California. The region is a hotbed of moto
activity, and fans come out in droves to get a piece of the action.

Angel Stadium has been good to Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan
Villopoto. He’s claimed two victories during the 2012 Monster Energy
Supercross season, and both have been at Angel Stadium. Tonight he
rocketed to the front of the pack in the Supercross Main and kept it
solid the entire race, earning him the coveted top spot on the podium.

Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Broc Tickle stayed strong and
consistent all night. Tickle looked super smooth, and piloted his
Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki machine to his second top-ten finish
of the 2012 season. Tickle finished 10th, crossing the finish line just
ahead Monster Energy Kawasaki's Jake Weimer, who finished 11th.

Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Dean Wilson arrived at Angel
Stadium with the hopes of closing the points gap between the series
point leader and himself. He was feeling confident and easily won his
heat race in the Supercross Lites West Class. His start in the
Supercross Lites West Main was against him, however, and he was forced
to spend the remainder of the race trying to catch up. He fought hard
for a fourth place finish, but now he's more-than-ready to shake things
up at next week's race. Be on the lookout for the young Scottish lad to
really turn heads next Saturday in San Diego.
The Monster Energy crew heads to
Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, Calif., next week for the sixth round of
the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship.
