A plea from the South Canterbury Motorcycle Club Hi All I am emailing on behalf of the South Canterbury Motorcycle Club to find out who is actually coming to ride Round 1 of the New Zealand Supercross on Wednesday 04 January 2012. We need a commitment from all riders to know if this event is viable or not. There is a huge amount of volunteer work and sponsors money that goes into preparing and running an event of this type and for the event to be successful we need you the riders to commit and promote the supercross amongst your fellow riders. The alternative to running a poor rider supported event is to cancel and you the riders risk that us 'the volunteers' don’t bother to put any effort into keeping this type of racing on the off road calendar in future years. There are always plenty excuses as to why we can’t make it but the future of Supercross in South Canterbury is in your hands.
