Barragan signs for Team STR KTM for 2013

Wednesday 26 September: Jonathan Barragan will be joining Team STR KTM to compete in both the World Championship and the British Championship. He will be riding the all-new KTM 450SX-F and will be partnering Matiss Karro to give the team a great mix of experience and youth.

Steve Turner -Team Manager: "I’m absolutely pumped to have teamed up Jonathan with Matiss for next year. Jonathan was awesome when he was on orange a few years ago and I’m confident he will soon be mixing it at the front end again when he gets back on a KTM. The new 450 is a fantastic bike and we will be working hard to tailor it to suit Jonathan’s style. As well as having two great riders competing in the GP’s we will be going all out for one of them to win the British Championship which is going to be like a mini GP series with so many top riders pencilled in for next year. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Shaun Sisterson at KTM in the UK and Robert Jonas at the KTM factory for all their help putting this deal together.”

It will be good to do the British Championship as well as there a many GP riders doing it as well as all the home riders who are always fast. It will be great practice for the GP’s”
