All roads lead to Murray Bridge for Yamaha Racing
Friday 26 April: The red loam and challenging Murray Bridge motocross circuit await Yamaha Racing this weekend as they contest round two of the MX Nationals.

CDR Yamaha represent the
blue brand in the MX1 (450cc) division and Serco Yamaha (250cc) take care of
the MX2 duties while this weekend will see the GYTR Yamaha team have the
weekend off as the Under 19s do not contest this round.
MX1: After an encouraging start
to the championship at Raymond Terrace just a fortnight ago, team mates Billy
Mackenzie and Lawson Bopping sit third and seventh respectively. Both have
continued to work hard during the break with Mackenzie taking a moto win
against good competition at a regional event in Queensland while Bopping spent
lots of hours on the practice and training track looking to piece together the
winning formula.

Both riders look at the
Murray Bridge circuit favourably as it is one of the real riders tracks cutting
up to make a demanding and technical track.
"It was a solid start to
the championship,” states team owner, Craig Dack. "Both guys showed some good
speed at round one and we have a good base to build our championship campaign
on.
"Billy received a boost of
confidence after a good day’s racing in Queensland while Lawson has worked hard
on his starts and sprint speed to get himself up to speed earlier in the moto.
"We hope to build momentum
through the next three rounds as they come in pretty quick succession,” Dack
offers.

MX2: The Serco Yamaha team
started the championship on an impressive note with Luke Styke taking the
opening round win with a dominating performance winning both 30 minute motos on
the day. Despite feeling a little under the weather with a stomach complaint,
Styke more than met the challenge at round one and is looking forward to a
repeat effort at Murray Bridge.
"Round one was good to us
and both riders showed they are good enough to content for this championship,”
offers crew chief Michael Marty. "Both guys are really happy with the bikes and
are fighting fit so we are confident of a good showing this weekend.”

Luke Clout showed he is a
rider to be reckoned with in 2013 after taking fourth overall at round one,
including a head turning second place in the first moto of the season. A small
fall late in the race ruined his chance of a podium finish but the youngster
from the Hunter Valley is fit and ready to go for round two.
