"Wow! I can't believe 17 rounds of Supercross are over already. It was a pretty good year all in all. We had some highs and some lows but we were totally in the hunt in one of the most crazy and exciting Supercross seasons in history. We came out of it healthy and finished real close to the top. I can't really ask for any more than that.

"We had a pretty good weekend in Vegas. We got off to a good start with solid practices and I was able to get a second in my heat race, which gave me a good gate pick. I didn't get that great of a start in the Main, which is something I need to work on, but I was able to get up into second and got close to Chad Reed, right up to his wheel, but I wasn't able to get around him. It was good to at least get that second podium spot for sure.

"I have to give a big thanks to my Rockstar Makita Suzuki team and to my family. Without them and my awesome Suzuki RM-Z450, I wouldn't be able to be out here doing what I do. They are all incredible. It was a long, tough season and I think we can learn a lot from it and apply it to the future and move forward and leave the past behind. The outdoor series is right around the corner and these next few weeks will be crucial to get ready and be in the best position to start the season.

"We've been testing all week for outdoors here in California. My Suzuki feels great and my Rockstar Makita Suzuki team is doing a great job in dialing it in. And it is getting better and better every day. We will be ready to go for Hangtown, which is just a little more than a week away. I'm really looking forward to the outdoors. A fresh start in a new series and 12 rounds and 24 motos is a lot of racing. I can't wait to the drop of that first gate!"
