Monster Energy Supercross Championship - Salt Lake CitySupercross Class: I just flicked into AMA Supercross Live Timing and at Lap 5 James Stewart was leading Chad Reed with Ryan Villopoto in 3rd. Next thing it flashes up that Stewart has crashed. Lap 8 and Villopoto is in the lead from Reed and Stewart is down in 8th. At Lap 10 he was 14th, Lap 13 12th. Reed was almost 3 seconds behind Villopoto but at the checquered flag he was less than a second. Stewart was 10th. Championship Standings  After that I checked the Lites West results and surprised to see Josh Hansen down in 13th. Comments on Twitter said he had made 'heavy contact' on Tomac but put himself down. It also put him back to 3rd in the Championship.   |
