Last weekend saw the second round of the Enduro Indoor World Championship in Barcelona. In front of an enthusiastic crowd, the Honda-HM-Zanardo Team continued development of the new HM CRE F480 R in the hands of E2 Champion, Mika Ahola.

The CRE 480 R is the machine on which Ahola will contest in the 2011 E3 Enduro World Championship and the flying Finn has the challenge of bringing the new machinery up to speed to take on the best in the world.

Following the remarkable debut victory last time out at the Enduro Indoor World Championship in Genoa, Ahola did not have it all his own way this time. He put in a consistent performance finishing 8th in Race 1, 11th in Race 2 and 4th in Race 3 for an overall position of 7th but still has work to do as he prepares for an assault on the E3 title, when the outdoor season begins again in April.

This event marks return to competition in 2011 for the Honda-HM-Zanardo Team, a year which is hoped will bring further championship glory.
