Kayne Lamont heading for England.

Mon 27 Dec: Various sources in UK/Europe are reporting that Kayne Lamont has been signed to ride MX2 in the Maxxis British Motocross Championship in 2011 for Rob Hooper Suzuki alongside Steven Clark.

I am already in Whakatane for Summercross and tried to reach Kayne's mum Di but they are on the journey from Mangakino to Whakatane. I ended up talking to his Nana who confirmed he is leaving in February.

Rob Hooper has had a year away from top-level motocross, the association of Rob Hooper and Suzuki will, in 2011, achieve. Title sponsorship is from Maxxis Tyres, the team will contest the MX2 in the Maxxis British Championship, Red Bull Pro Nationals and the British Masters series.

That brings the number of Kiwis in that series to four. Rex Michau from Team DBG is running John Phillips in MX2 and Kieran Scheele and Bjarne Frederickson in MX1.
