Refections - the 2015 Huka Honda MXFest

Monday 27 October: Taupo's annual event was a huge day of results for Yamaha on Sunday

Great weather on Sunday and once again a great event Taupo Motorcycle Club

Yamaha riders took 5 titles.

MX1: Josh Coppins went 1-1-1 for the overall. Then went 3-1-1-1 to take the Nicky Jane Smith Memorial - winning by 23 points including the Shoot Out points.

MX1: Ethan Martens was 2nd overall on the 250 2-stroke. Ethan crashed out of the Top 3 Shoot Out and got a nasty graze on his right arm and torso.

MX2: Kayne Lamont also went 1-1-1 for the overall by 9 points. He crashed out when Dean Porter went down in front of him in the Top 6 Shoot Out and lucky he has nothing broken - will be sore today !! Cohen Chase was 3rd.

125cc Class: Wyatt Chase went 2-1-1 and won by 17 points including the Shoot Out points.

Vets 45 years plus: Darren Capill went 1-1-1 to win by 15 points.

MX3: 29 starters and Darren Capill went 1-1-1 to win by 19 points.
