2013 Harvey Fresh A4DE starts with a bang!

The day got off with a flying start as Matthew Phillips lead the pack after test one, the eleven kilometres long Quit Enduro test.
The roles changed after Daniel Milner finished first at the Yamaha Cross Enduro Test, followed by Matthew Phillips with a four seconds difference. Chris Hollis finished the top three in the second test.

"I feel good riding in the grass”, said KTM Motorex rider Chris Hollis. And that showed, because he finished first at the Alcoa Tests. Matthew Phillips finished second and Daniel Milner finished third with only a one second time difference.

"The Alcoa test wasn’t as wet as the other two tests. Not so chopped up. It was easier to carry more speed”, said Chris Hollis.

Matthew Phillips finished first again at the Quit Enduro test. There was a nine seconds gap between him and the number two of test four, Daniel Milner. Followed by fellow Yamaha rider, Joshua Green.

Daniel Milner did not let go of control at the Yamaha Cross Enduro test and finished first here again. "It’s pretty similar to what I ride at home. Not as fast as the other tests tho, but I really enjoyed it.”
Matthew Phillips and Chris Holder finished closely after.

In the seventh test, Matthew Phillips (05:55.411) finished 10 seconds ahead of Chris Hollis. Another two seconds later, Daniel Milner finished in third place (06:07.287).

Daniel Milner again finished first in the eight test and set a time of 04:20.142. Second was Chris Hollis (04:22.845), followed by Matthew Phillips (04:26.201).

Jessica Gardiner was on fire today and was able to leave a sixteen second gap between her and Emelie Karlsson. Followed closely by Jemma Wilson.

"Today went really well. It was very technical especially the first part of the day. It was very slippery. I made some small mistakes in the beginning but I catched up a bit.  I feel good about the progress I made today,” said Jessica Gardiner.

Toby Price is at the four day to show his support to his team-mates and to take in the action. "It is great to be here, but also very difficult. Seeing these guys having so much fun makes me want to go out there as well. Everything is going very well. I just need the confirmation from my doctors and my goal is to be back on my bike again soon. I can’t wait”
