The weather was warm in Oklahoma and the indoor rodeo arena retained a lot of the outside heat which made it quite challenging for the riders during the afternoon practice and hot laps. The course was quite different than the typical EnduroCross rounds with much more dirt and Supercross style jumps which suited the style of Mike Brown and Blazusiak.

Blazusiak qualified with the third fastest time during the afternoon hot laps with Christini/KTM rider Geoff Aaron turning the fastest time and FMF/KTM rider Mike Brown earning the second fastest time.

The heat races had a strong showing of KTM riders. Aaron won the first heat, while Brown won the second and Blazusiak finished off the KTM win streak by taking the win in heat number three.

RPM/KTM rider Kevin Rookstool was able to slide into the main event after taking a hard fought win in the last chance qualifier.

The main event saw Blazusiak with the holeshot followed closely by Brown and Aaron. Blazusiak and Brown began to battle right from the start with Brown getting around Blazusiak a few corners into the first lap. Brown led for a couple laps before he made a mistake in a rock section and allowed Blazusiak to get by. The two remained in battle for eight laps before Brown stalled his bike with only two of the ten laps remaining. Brown had trouble getting his bike started which allowed Blazusiak to pull away and take the win. Aaron finished 2nd behind Blazusiak and Justin Soulè rounded out the podium.

Former Motocross pro rider, Guy Cooper, pit under the FMF/KTM Factory semi for the day competing in the Vet class. At the age of 48, he was able to turn heads as he won his class while running lap times very close to the pro riders.
