Nitro Circus' Jim DeChamp seriously injured
Friday 01 July: Jim DeChamp has broken his back and in a medically induced coma.
RacerXonline reports that Travis Pastrana's longtime
friend
Jim DeChamp suffered a

serious injury last night whilst
taping for the upcoming movie Nitro Circus 3D.
Jim is in a
medically induced coma having suffered a broken back and will be
undergoing surgery today.
"Travis said that Jim really needs our
prayers," Travis' mother Debbie told Racer X. "The Nitro Circus crew is a very tight-knit
group, and they're all very worried."
Jim has been one of Travis's closest friends since he was 10. He is a
professional mountain bike downhill racer and freestyle rider. Jim and
Travis have a very collaborative relationship where they dream up all
sorts of stunts. They started their stunt career as kids on big wheels
and pedal bikes and have graduated to motorcycles, race cars, off-road
trucks and anything else that goes fast and jumps far.
We ask all of you to keep him in your thoughts and
prayers. More information as it comes to hand.
