Round 4 Maxxis ACU British MX Champs this weekend

The ACU Events own Milton Park venue has received the final touches and is now ready for Round 4 of the Championship - a crucial stage, which takes place on Sunday.

ACU Events picture was taken late Thursday afternoon and clearly shows the wet track which has not dried so much today as more cloud has been lingering over the Northampton circuit. More watering has now commenced which will continue tomorrow ahead of a light "tickle" from the power harrow tomorrow evening.

Series Manager, Brian Higgins reported that he was pleased with the way things had gone and paid tribute to John Trehane who had taken charge of the track watering since Wednesday. "John and his team decided to rip parts of the track on Thursday evening and gave it a really good soaking up to 11pm last evening and with less drying conditions today they are beginning to win the battle. Chris Warren (Clerk of the Course) and John Percival (Race Director) will meet tomorrow lunchtime to decide on the final amounts still to be put down".

Milton Park motocross Circuit was designed and built by World Championship track builder Justin Barclay. The result is a hard pack surface that is fast and flowing, with a wide variety of jumps, rhythm sections and high speed turns.
