Hawkstone International Sunday night NZ time

Saturday 19 March: Hawkestone is the big pre-season International Motocross with all of the major Grand Prix and UK race teams in attendance.

This weekend has finally arrived and the HIMX team are all geared up and ready to go for the Hawkstone International. The Hawk Plant diggers and bulldozers have been, the track is looking great and so far the weather is fantastic, the riders are set and the action will kick off early Sunday (UK time) morning at the fantastic Hawkstone Park venue.

In amongst the heavyweights of MX2 is Kayne Lamont. I say heavyweights because there are names like Arnaud Tonus, Valentin Teillet, Jake Nicholls, Matiss Karro, Max Anstie, Tommy Searle, Mel Pocock, Neville Bradshaw and Zach Osborne

Kiwis will also remember Jamie Collins whose parents Richard (aka Richie) & Karen and sister Georgina lived in the Nelson/Murchison area for some time before returning to the UK. Jamie rode for GB at the Junior Worlds. Jamie is also entered in MX2 but not on yellow, now on orange. .
