The Doeksens Arrive in Spain

The Doeksens have just driven this brand new motorhome/workshop/transporter 1500 km from Holland, through Belgium, Luxembourg and France and are now in Barcelona - Spain. It will be their home until the end of September. Joël will now attend an eight week motocross training camp of former MX World Champion John van den Berk.

Jan (Snr) is against the MB next to the external door to the workshop. You can see the flush mounted awnings/canopies that extend from the body of the truck. They have three sides so can be fully enclosed.

This is the logo that appears on the doors and across the back of the transporter.

Joël gives us the guided tour. Note how it's open through to the front cab.

The table lowers to make a large double bed and there's another above the cab.

Regular sized oven and 4 gas burners - Jolanda will not be impressed that it's not tidy !

Past the bathroom and that's an internal access to the workshop.

Another double, this time above the workshop.

The workshop / bike storeage.  Practice bike at left and the Cairoli Replica KTM SXS 350F at right. The observant amongst you will notice these bikes are taller - they have Doeksen Space Frames fitted. The door at the right is that access we saw above.

Close-up of the Cairoli Replica.

On Wednesday Joël had his first ride in close to two months at Bellpuig - the GP track in Spain.

Joël is sponsored by Brouwer Motors in Holland who are the KTM Distributors for The Netherlands. This is Gert Brouwer's collection. Joël also has sponsorship from Twin Air, Valvoline and Pirelli.

Finally, this is Joël's logo for his raceshirt.  Moto-Media will bring you updates throughout the season.
