Steven has been the best MX2 rider all along the championship and formed an unbeatable duo with his Kawasaki KX250F Pro-Circuit. He has shown great determination and persistance, and performed once again in an outstanding final race, finishing first in the last hit of the year among the MX1 bikes, and above that, rival Mickael Pichon.

After winning the title in 2008, Steven Frossard now gives a great gift to Team CLS, which has to move to the MX1 class in 2011 with another team because of the age limit in the MX2 class.

All the CLS crew is now going to take off for Brazil, to Campo Grande, where the next race of the World Championship will take place on Sunday.

Steven Frossard: "I arrived in Lacapelle with a lot of points in advance, so I felt very good on the bike. But I was only very relaxed in the last hit because then I knew that I had become Champion. I would like to thank my team which helped me to compete with the best riders, with very high level machines. The Kawasaki Pro-Circuit bikes are among the best bikes of the World Championship."

Jean-Jacques Luisetti: "All the team is very happy to offer this title to Kawasaki and to Pro-Circuit, because they have trusted us all year long. I would also like to congratulate Steven and the technical crew which has kept a lot of motivation to win this championship. Now we have to stay focused on the World Championship, in which we will fight to keep our place on the final podium."
